When you entered the lobby it was clean, bright and the décor was updated and fresh. The place to eat breakfast or dinner was open with comfortable seating and there was a large table to plug laptops into and work from. The rooms were big and open, that bathrooms were updated and nicely done. They had a firepit area and a pool area that was fun to hang out in.

The new upgrades! THE SHOWERS ♥️ We're frequent at this location since it was a Quality Inn. So to see such amazing changes... Wow! And the staff, chefs kiss! The old ones needed an upgrade too!

This rental home was so beautiful and exceeded all expectations! It was located in an upscale neighborhood with a well manicured landscaped yard. Also, the back patio area was perfect to enjoy the view. It had additional security features and amenities to ensure a safe and comfortable stay. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the home, and special care was taken by our host to make sure all our needs were met. The home was spacious and decorated beautifully. Convenient location with easy access to restaurants and stores. Melody, our host, provided such a wonderful and thoughtful area of snacks and extras. I needed a getaway from everyday life .and I used to love to stay at the windmill.but it has changed.i wanted a specific room.but I had my dog so I get that they have designated pet rooms but I feel jipped.the room was dirty and smelly and their new toilets were way to small.i nearly slipped in the showers .very unsafe.worst thing is I was looking forward to the pool and hot tub .and I was so bummed that they were dirty ,foggy.the hot tub was very low in water and the temp.was only a couple degrees warmer than the pool.not relaxing at all. And the lake that used to have a water spout and tons of fish to feed was still with no fish.very sad.it used to make me so happy.KarenUnited States of America - 10Scored 10
We have been to Surprise many times, this was the first time...
We have been to Surprise many times, this was the first time we rented a home. We chose the BEST place to stay. Our host, and the owner were absolutely fabulous. We had so much famiy time. We enjoyed the grotto/heated pool, just amazing space. We spent hours playing board games and cards and cooked several meals. We were so fortunate to find this home away from home. Our room was dated but would have been a better experience...
Our room was dated but would have been a better experience if it didn't smell so bad. We ended up switching rooms without any problem, but the second room's ceiling fan was squeaky, and the couch was wet. The sink area is not near the bathtub, so remember to get your towel before taking a shower. Towels were minimal. If you want your room clean-make, sure to call the front desk. They will not clean your room until after your 3rd night's stay. DO NOT ORDER from the take-out menu they offer you. A different company runs it, and the food is terrible. I will say that the staff our friendly, and WiFi was easy to access. We had to stay longer in town due to a family member in the hospital, but we switched hotels. Hampton is right across from the hospital, and was so much nicer. Comfort Inn was ok, but given the chance to do it over, we would not stay there again.

I liked Surprise because of the landscape.
I liked Surprise because of the landscape. Arizona is different then California in the open land and the weather. It was over 100 degrees and it did not feel that hot. It was nice and relaxing. The only thing that was disturbing was that we went to a steak house that had very bad service. They never came to our table to take our order. We left the restaurant and ate elsewhere. Had a wonderful time; truly a play land for seniors! You name it, they have it. Can't wait to go back; everyone was happy, friendly and there is so much to do. In fact I had such a good time that I am planning on going back this coming fall.
