Loved getting together with family in middle America and...
Loved getting together with family in middle America and visiting well-kept small town farming communities, seeing miles and miles and miles of corn, sorghum, alfalfa, and sunflower fields with lots of lakes and wildlife. In town, you’ll find a wide variety of cafes and restaurants, museums, art galleries, and shops. Don’t forget to pay your respects to your relatives who have gone before you in well-maintained cemeteries. And there’s a cute zoo for the kids, too!

I stayed in Watertown mostly because I needed a place to stay for the night while making a long road trip. Watertown had several nice restaurants for a town that size and I was most impressed by the cleanliness of the community. it's a very nice town of 22,000 ..You will have to travel a lot of places to find people more friendly than Watertown, SD .. I also can assure you that if you book with booking.com you are paying the lowest price you can get ….

Seems like a nice little town.
Seems like a nice little town. We just stayed there to break up the driving between Duluth, Minnesota and Rapid City, South Dakota. Didn’t do much in Watertown but really enjoyed the drive through South Dakota AWAY FROM THE INTERSTATE.TimUnited States of America - 8.0Scored 8.0
Small town feel, with all the necessities.
Small town feel, with all the necessities. The Gym in downtown Watertown is among the best I've ever been to. Well equipped and a great staff. I've worked out all over the USA, and this one is in the top 10. They have a day pass rate for those of us who are just visiting.

I was worried I couldn’t find parking when I got there and additionally worried if I park too far away I’d risk damage to the truck or things stolen. Front desk staff was nice and said I could park anywhere even taking up multiple spots. Relief. So what I liked best, was ample room for parking and also lots of access roads to turn around a big rig. Very happy!SteveUnited States of America
