The Hatteras Island Inn is just 1 mile from the beach and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Free WiFi is available in all guest rooms. The room is quite large and spacious with a nice large HD TV. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are equipped with a fridge and microwave. The property was very quiet and I was able to get rest when needed between working. The staff is friendly, especially Robin, she’s the best!

Located in Kitty Hawk, this brand-new Holiday Inn Express is a 5 minute walk from to the beach and steps from some of the most popular restaurants on the Outer Banks. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. The entire facility (although new) was very clean and convenient. The pool was great, lots of clean towels. Breakfast was great. Location was great, short walk to beach and lots of shopping and restaurants. We stay for 1 night every year in Kitty Hawk before meeting up with other families in Corolla or Ocracoke, and as long as prices stay consistent we'll definitely be choosing this hotel again in the future.

Nags Head
We moved to a room with Ocean View which was excellent & the staff were beyond helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect. This was our first visit to the Outer Banks & we will return. We were able to see everything on our "to see list"due to the easy location of the hotel. Breakfast was as expected due to COVID 19. All I needed was provided - COFFEE, some cereal etc. I was very happy to have a nice cup of coffee every morning! Everyone we interacted with were pleasant and helpful.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay.Close to everything.The cleanliness far exceeded my expectations.I have stayed at many hotels across a few states including big chains and this was tha cleanest by far!Not a speck of dust anywhere.I will stay here EVERY time I visit the Outer Banks
This is a hotel on the beach on the Outer Banks and is beautifully situated! The staff are great. There is a little cafe/resto in the lobby of the hotel where Dave presides and cooks and provides guests something to eat in the case of fog and rain, as we experienced.
Ocracoke
We were pleasantly surprised by the Pony Island Inn and its location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We spent some time by the pool and walked all around town. They even offered information for our travels heading north through the Outer Banks.
Beautiful room, the hotel is perfectly located on the beach and provides complimentary breakfast. We had a wonderful off season stay there during a trip to visit the Outer Banks. The room was huge, super clean and comfy. Nothing was missing.
We spent a great weekend in the Outer Banks in Surf Side. The hotel is in a great location, oversees the ocean, the decorations in the hotel were so cute and the staff was pretty friendly. Definitely going again if given the chance.

This isn't a fancy hotel. This is a Mom and Pop affordable place on the natural Outer Banks! We enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very nice and the location was perfect! The room was clean. We will return.
There is much to recommend this hotel. Location, location, location. Right on the oceanfront, great view, close to lots of restaurants and stores. Old-school Outer Banks charm. Good, strong shower.

We loved everything about this motel!!! The location is excellent! I love the fact that you walk down a few steps, and you are standing on the beach, and you are just minutes from shops and restaurants! We will definitely be back!
The size of the room was great. The grounds were clean and peaceful, plus the staff was always ready to help. The equipment was clean and was taken care of very well. The pool was clean and the little water park was a fun extra. We enjoyed ourselves and definitely will be returning
