If your comfortable enough with extremely ice cold winds...
If your comfortable enough with extremely ice cold winds that rip through regularly and winter driving conditions and your not big on crowded towns with all those shopping malls than it's a good place to go.
Especially for hunters, there's a lot of game out there and those of you who like photographing colorful sunrises and sunsets,Rawlins has a huge sky that often has so many vibrant colors you can't tell if your looking at the morning sky or setting sun.
Great panoramic views!😁
Don't speed here though, they are very serious about that 30 mph😅

I did not enjoy my time in Rawlings.
I did not enjoy my time in Rawlings.
I could not get any phone service during my time there.
Just a bad feeling when I saw the hotel we booked online. The photos were not representative of the hotel and felt disappointed when we got there. We decided to move on to another town and left after checking into the hotel. I’m sure there are nice hard working people there and perhaps the town is great but upon our short visit we were not able to find a good reason to stay.

Rawlins is a small town.
Rawlins is a small town. Best Western appears to be one of the better places to stay. Except for the bathroom, the rest of the room was clean. Beds are comfortable. Had a hard time finding a place to eat for dinner but the diner we found was very good. Breakfast at the hotel was not very good, did not compare to other Best Westerns that I have stayed at.

The room and hotel are very old.
The room and hotel are very old. It seemed surface clean however there is only so much can be done with rugs, old floors, paint, fixtures, which made all seem not clean.. There was a bug running across floor in bathroom. The TV did not work, could only turn on, off. Volumn worked, but channel would not change. Went to front desk area and they showed how to work (not different than doing) But still did not work. Gave up.
All in all will not stay again.

Friendly, quick checkin.
Friendly, quick checkin. Bathroom was clean but toilet a bit on the low side. It was low to the ground. The breakfast next morning was good. A nice selection of breakfast foods. Room was clean and neat.
Everything. Great property that is well-maintained and has a fabulous staff! On our 9-day road trip, this was the ONE hotel that read our special request for lightweight blankets and made up the beds so we didn’t have to unmake them to accommodate! Twila, the manager, was incredibly kind and helpful, and I only wish other hotels in this chain (and others) would pay attention to their guests the way she did with us! A hotel is only as good as its employees, and she’s fabulous!! Made our entire trip!!
Classic American budget hotel. Clean rooms, clean beds, very quiet place, overall we say it's fine, the only two sore points are: 1) tub with obvious traces of dirt, rust/limescale. Just use powder products to clean everything, and make everything white and clean. 2) The TV doesn't work, the signal comes and goes, you can't see any channels, the decoder has very short cables and when they clean it you risk having them disconnected. Check the length of the cables and the decoder/TV signals.
We booked for 2 nights at this hotel once at the start of our trip and once at the end. The first stay we waited an hour before someone came to the desk after I had Facebook messaged where was everyone? Apparently someone had walked out without saying so they were unaware. The receptionist was very apologetic. The room was fine and as we'd expected for the price.
The location was great. The hotel was a dive. We purposely paid more for this place hoping to get a nice hotel. We should’ve saved our money and paid less for a different place. It’s getting run down and the breakfast was practically nothing. They didn’t even have hot water.
Blake at the front desk was wonderful! The hotel was conveniently right off the expressway. It was clean and bright. The shower was amazing! We had to book this last minute due to a detour in our trip. It was very comfortable after a long day.
Rawlins Western Lodge was a perfect spot for an overnight stay on our road trip across the USA. The staff was SO helpful. The room was clean and the bed was more comfortable than expected! The price was great and we enjoyed our stay.
Clean. no dust, and seems like cleaning crew did great job clean the place. Staff - looks like a owner, was friendly and location was great. There was interesting art outside of hotel which we enjoyed them.
The owner/Manager was extremely helpful in many ways related to the Teton National Park and to the fine cuisine in the Rawlins area. We would definitely stay at this location again on a future trip.
Breakfast needed potatoes or something to go with eggs. Swimming pool was quite humid, but nice. I have no complaints about anything actually. It was a nice hotel and the staff was very pleasant.
Nothing except warm, dry, out of the wind & snow. Parking was good. The whole town was unappealing and most restaurants closed. Never want to stay in Rawlins again
Excellent hotel just off the interstate. friendly and efficient staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The shower is awesome and the breakfast amazing.
