The location is excellent - walkable to the Hall of Fame and shops & restaurants on Main St. The room I had was a good size, with a large king bed. The bathroom was small but perfectly fine.

We visited Cooperstown last July for an art exhibit and fell in love with it! Today we left the Landmark Inn with gratitude for the huge degree of professionalism and hospitality from the owners and staff, from our greeting to the gorgeous room, to out gourmet breakfast. Personal attention to visitors needs and comfort was truly apparent when the owner told us that they wanted to tarp our oak artist easel to protect it against any possible dew overnight in their private parking lot.
Spotting the copy of The Creative Act, by Rick Rubin in the sitting room, among other art books and seeing the contemporary original works on display made a big impact as well.

Lake Front is conveniently located to all the sites I wanted to see, and all the activities I wanted while there. Waking up in the morning and looking out over Lake Otsego is worth the trip!

My husband and I traveled first weeks of off season when weather was mild and foliage colors alive. Arrived on a Thursday evening to check in and visited Hall of Fame Friday. Cooperstown is a wonderful throwback town in the mountains. An enthusiastic baseball fan could spend hours, possibly 2 days+ taking in all the history presented. Enjoyed visiting history outside of major city in this lovely landscape. Thank you to the residents of this beautiful town for keeping it alive. Visited late October, no crowds. Even though some places were closed for the season, we don’t feel like we missed much. Museum was not crowded so easy to take time and read to experience. Mel’s 22 was fantastic for dinner… best to reserve ahead.

We usually visit Cooperstown in the summer but the fall is much nicer. In the summer the town is packed with little leaguers, which is to be expected. There are so many other places to visit outside of Cooperstown including the Fly Creek Cider Mill and Oneonta which is 30 minutes away from Cooperstown.

Cooperstown is a charming village, very walkable with excellent restaurants and shops. We especially liked the Doubleday Cafe which had gluten free bread available. The Baseball Hall of Fame is located in the village with reasonable cost parking available a short walk away. The Fenimore Art Museum and Farm Museums are close by. A very pleasant place. We watched a baseball game at Double Day Field to conclude our very pleasant day there.

Cooperstown is one the most beautiful places to visit and stay. In fact we are considering moving there one day that's how much we love it. It's clean and safe and the houses are just so picturesque...the people who do live there should be very proud ....they take excellent care of their homes and make the area so beautiful. The lakes are gorgeous. The hall of fame is so interesting if you enjoy baseball...Doubleday field is awesome and well kept...the shops and restaurants are top notch with very friendly staff. Doubleday Cafe has the best waffle you'll ever eat...the Hawkeye Grill has the best cheeseburger and prime rib panini you will ever taste and the view is beyond heavenly. Bottom line, if you want a relaxed, fun, just plain nice vacation...you will never go wrong with a stay in Cooperstown.

Glimmerglass lake Is beautiful, ride the Glimmerglass Queen.
Glimmerglass lake Is beautiful, ride the Glimmerglass Queen. Do the rail bikes, very neat and very easy to pedal. Fly Creek orchard for lunch, they have lots of neat things to look at, Brookwood point is a lovely old garden, you can rent a kayak and go out on the lake. Don't go to town during the baseball induction week. Fairly easy to find what your looking for and all the employees we encountered were very kind.
Unique hotel combination including a great restaurant with terrific lake views. It was our favorite restaurant for the week we stayed in Cooperstown. The hotel has more of a motel-ish feel to it but the rooms have all been renovated and exceptionally clean. It is right on the lake with great atmosphere. The staff, esp at the restaurant were awesome - helping set my grandson and I up to fish a bit - and the fishing was good. And its a block away from downtown and the Baseball Hall Of Fame.
Cobblescote is perfectly located overlooking Lake Otsego and a 4 minute drive to downtown Cooperstown. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and my hubby even caught a fish with the provided equipment! But best of all, the hospitality was flawless. They were preparing for a family wedding the next day and still found time to chat and make us feel welcomed. Highly recommend!
All the staff were friendly and made us feel at home. We were there for the Cooperstown Dream Park tournament. By our third day, every staff member we encountered acted as if they knew us.
I would definitely return to this hotel if we came back to the area.
We had a pleasant, enjoyable time and were sad when we had to leave.
The setting was great right on the lake with a small beach and seating. Very steep hill down to the lake but had a drive down with parking so we did that. Place was very clean. Nice balcony with lake view through the trees. Was about 5 miles out of town with a number of small hotels and very quiet.
We were in the area for grandson’s Dreams Park week. We stayed in a suite at Lakeview Motel up the hill. The view from our deck was gorgeous. Loved having a full kitchen. The accommodation is basic and adequate, we were comfortable during our stay. Drives into Cooperstown and Dreams Park were easy.
Requested an early check in because of impending snow storm.. It was granted with no questions asked. The front desk person was friendly when we arrived and check in moved quickly.. Nice comfortable room in a nice area of Cooperstown less than a mile from main street.. We will try it again..
great little hotel in a good location. the breakfast was great to get you started and on your way. way too much plastic waste and not very environmentally friendly Though they need to do better with this. would deffo stay again.
excellent location -could walk everywhere-very clean-Fred the owner was very helpful and couldn’t have been nicer- the breakfast was the best I ever had at a B&B. would recommend to anyone going to Cooperstown.
Very friendly staff at check in. Locked my keys in car and a young man went above and beyond to help get them out. Great spot on lake.. Would come back again and only 6 or 7 min drive into Cooperstown.
This was a great property right by Cooperstown dream park. Waking up to a fresh breakfast every morning was amazing. Definitely the only place my family will be staying if we are in Cooperstown.
Quaint, spacious and so close to everything with a dedicated parking space. We were able to walk everywhere and it made our time in Cooperstown that much better. Also good WiFi and cable.
Fantastic location just steps from the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Clean room with easy street parking. Nothing glamorous, but would highly recommend for a quick trip to Cooperstown.
Great view from our room over the lake. The indoor pool was small but it was great to have it -- we used it a lot. Hotel is well situated close to various restaurants and activities.
The area around the Lake and Cooperstown NY were beautiful, the view of the lake was awesome , the staff very friendly and helpful. total comfort. easy to get to town or the Lake .
