I stayed at the Emerson-Lakepoint, GA area of Cartersville, GA. It was a nice family type area with fast food restaurants, Subway, Starbucks, Chik Fil a, McDonalds. They had a Loves's Gas Station, a nice family bowling activity center across from the Hampton Inn where I stayed. The Hampton was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. This Hampton was pet friendly. The area was overall small and quiet. They had a water sports area behind the Hampton called Lake Point. I stayed in January and too cold then for water sports. The area would probably be busier in the warmer months. There is quick easy access to I-75. I would stay here again.

Night stay at Days Inn by Wyndham in Cartersville. As grandparents, We were there for a baseball tournament and really only needed a place to sleep and shower. We were pleasantly surprised at the comfort and cleanliness of our room. The night clerk was especially nice and informative. She told us places to eat that were not fast food! Actually, every staff member was courteous and helpful. We’ve already suggested it for some friends that are traveling to Florida and just need a place to crash overnight. It’s a deal!
We ate at Spot20 and Biscuit Belly. Both were very good. The Lake Point Stadium was beautiful and comfortable. Lots of handicapped parking!

It is a beautiful city with a lot of history . We stopped by a wing place called city wings. Great wings. The hotel sits on a hill. Very nice! Cartersville has a small town feel with all the stores you’d need while staying there.

I had difficulty navigating some of the roads around my hotel in Cartersville, but I enjoyed the sights and food while there. I did not get to do much while I was in Cartersville, but the scenery was gorgeous. Next time, I will look more closely at my hotel's location relative to roads and traffic lights.
Loved the lobby with everything going on! pool table, board game check out station. All the different seating areas inside and out. Loved that you offered a lift at the pool for people with disabilities even though we didn’t need it, it’s still a fabulous idea! I’ve told so many people about your hotel. We will definitely stay at other Tru hotels. You need to open one in Madison, Al by the new Trash Pandas Stadium or in Huntsville by the new Orion Amphitheater
Location was fine. We requested and got confirmation for a handicapped room and notified we had dogs. When we arrived the hotel was under construction. No handicap rooms and instead room offered was on the second floor at end of the hall. Got to room, tv didn’t work, no phone in room. Went to front desk got batteries for tv remote thinking that was the issue to find out that wasn’t it. Had to change rooms again on same floor. What a cluster!
We booked on Booking.com and had a problem with the reservation so the front desk lady helped me. We arrived on Friday, Feb. 2nd around 9:00 and the young lady at the desk was fantastic. Booking.com said it would be two hours to send our reservation to the hotel but she got us another reservation thru the hotel and we only had to wait 50 minutes. Can't say enough about the young person who was working that night!
The property was clean. Right off the highway, and close to restaurants, a grocery store, and some shopping. I know most hotels do not clean your room daily, so I liked that someone came in with fresh towels and least took out the trash daily.
They did have an electric charger for your vehicle for an extra charge. But the overnight charge was fairly reasonable.
We were traveling from our home in Grayling Michigan to our home in Sarasota Fl. We usually stay in Cartersville GA. Decided on Comfort Inn because we’ve had some bad experiences at othe motels in area, too noisy etc. Loved the beds and pillows, the sweet girl at the desk was so helpful.
After reading conflicting reviews, I decided to book the room anyway. The hotel is in a convenient location for restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and for the price, I couldn't have asked for more. The beds were very comfortable.
The hotel is a lot nicer than what the pictures on the internet show. Seems like the owner has put a lot of work in and needs to show it. The rooms were clean and so were all of the bed linens so I was pleased.
Since my last stay the hotel has gone thru some renovations and appeared
Fresh and bright. The hotel and rooms were showing wear and tear and
The renovations appear to have taken care of those issues.
Nothing to like.
No breakfast, when booking the add said Breakfast is included. False advertising.
No pool either.
Wake up Pandemic is long over in other hotels, very cheap on managements part.
The hotel was very well furnished and well decorated. The staff was pleasant, and the pool area was nice. The room was very comfortable. It had plenty of space, and charging ports everywhere.
