The Breakfast food was comparable to other places we have stayed, however the person that was in charge of the breakfast was not replacing the food as it was being consumed. And when she was asked if there was more, her response was "I can cook more food, but it will take a while." and she seemed to be disgruntled that the people were eating the food. This was at 7:00 in the morning, so it was not like the end of the breakfast buffet. I thought that was extremely rude.

Pretty town with more going on than we expected. Lovely historic homes with azaleas everywhere! Great retail stores and some unexpectedly excellent restaurants (Javi's, Villagio del Vino). Getting around is very easy in a car (and Uber is available when you're tired of walking!). Found great live music at Rick's on the Square.

Tyler seems to be the place you go if you have a reason to go there: family perhaps, a funeral or a wedding. I can't say there is any redeeming reason to make Tyler a stop. I did though have a really nice steak dinner in a restaurant that was like going back in time. Sorry though I do not recall the name. If you do have to stay the night somewhere in the area Tyler wouldn't be your worst choice.

The town is fine. Its the hotel that sucks beyond words.
The town is fine. Its the hotel that sucks beyond words. Still no reply on my $100 deposit that isn't mentioned on Booking for a $70 room with old food in mini fridge and cobwebs in the room not to mention the bathroom with a toothbrush sticking out of the noisy ass almost falling down light fixture. I posted pictures but they may have been left. I wouldn't stay there ever again if that was the only place left in town.
What a shame for this town.

Tyler is a wonderful place, that is growing growing constantly. If you can afford it there are many mid to high-end motels and hotels in Tyler. Do not pick this location unless it's your only option financially.

First time being there was pretty cool. I came for football playoffs so I didn’t have much time to explore. But a few of the people that came with us, did have great things to see about local restaurants and etc.

Dangerous town especially north Tyler went there once for a baby shower and came back home the same day. Someone literally got shot in the next room at the hotel i was staying at because apparently that area has a reputation for crime. Never ever again will i go back
The outside of the hotel room smelled like marijuana and the inside smells like Raid the roach spray. The walls and carpet along with the bathroom where filthy and so was the old furniture . Power sockets where open and exposed. They didn’t have any toiletries also they don’t have a fridge or microwave. This is a hotel for transients and drug addicts also ran by drug addicts who try to charge you extra deposits in cash so they can claim something is wrong with your room and keep your money.
The only thing that was good in that hotel room was the bed was okay and the air conditioning was good it had black mold we had roaches crawling around in our room they had roaches in the lobby the tub was Rusty and the drain was sludgy and then underneath the sink it was just disgusting with black mold in this foamy stuff and I would not recommend anybody at this hotel I have not received my $50 deposit they held and I am requesting my money back and they're dragging their feet
This was the worst hotel I've ever booked. Absolutely nothing like photos. Roaches, crack spoons, filth (urination on and around toilet) and lots of cheap pot. I've reached out to Booking for a refund and no one calls me back. I've been a loyal Booking customer for 15 years, but will never use them again after this experience. I have photos as well. We did not stay, but hotel could not refund because we used Booking.com. Absolutely ridiculous.
After I paid for the reservation and on my way to the hotel, they called and just said they had no room for me. Instead of processing the refund immediately, I am waiting for them to respond to booking.com for they can refund. So why am I having to suffer because either they dropped the ball ... This is beyond horrible business. They should have to pay for the extra money that I had to put out.
Check in was easy and friendly. Area is quiet, seems safe. TV was easy to use and the remote worked. Bathroom was nice and clean. A/C was easy to adjust and worked well. Wifi worked fine. Good location in Tyler, short drive to lots of restaurants.
Excellent customer service and the hotel staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was clean. We were allowed early check-in which came in handy since we live 4 hours away. This will be our go to hotel when visiting Tyler.
Did not like our stay here this time which is disappointing because we typically stay here for our Tyler trips. There was nothing good to say about this place this time. I am very disappointed in how this property is ran now.
Very clean and comfortable room. The bed was one of the better mattresses I’ve slept on in a hotel. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful. It’s a very updated and modern hotel. Good shower.
Got off price line for 45.00 then got there they charged 30.00 deposit that I haven't gotten back so I actually paid full price for dirty room dirty bathroom sockets falling out. Light blinking constantly.
Very comfortable bed and pillows! Nice TV, lots of channels, air conditioner worked great, clean room, friendly staff, quiet hotel, would stay again. Safe place to stay if traveling alone.
The room was clean & smelled fresh. The location was ideal for us as we were in Tyler for a family funeral. The breakfast offered was definitely a bonus.
We felt safe & secure there.
The property was close to everything we needed but not within the heavy traffic of Tyler. Little pool area was perfect for the kids and the breakfast was a decent spread of options.
It was very clean and spacious. Receptionist Ashley was fabulous. Made us feel at home.
The hotel was far away from everything so a car was needed.
Loved the pool.
