There is nothing in Waco.
There is nothing in Waco. You can visit the Chip and Joanne things but cannot afford anything. You can visit the shops downtown and still cannot afford anything. Prices are too high and not much to do or see. Would not recommend going to Waco.

We started our day with a couple hours at the Cameron Park Zoo and ended with a tour of the Dr. Pepper Museum. Both were great values for our budget and also very interesting. Little kids probably wouldn't love the Dr. Pepper Museum, but it was toddler time at the zoo.

Very interesting place with much to see.
Very interesting place with much to see. The Dr Pepper and the Texas Ranger museums were really interesting. Of course the Magnolia area was great also. Taking a tour of the city gives you loads of information. Very enjoyable.

We went to visit Magnolia and that is what we got.
We went to visit Magnolia and that is what we got. We did all things Magnolia, found an awesome church to go to on Sunday and even went to the Dr. Pepper museum. We had a great time and everything we did was within 3-5 miles of our hotel!

We were visiting Thursday-Sunday primarily for a Baylor...
We were visiting Thursday-Sunday primarily for a Baylor Athletic Event. Friday we had breakfast reservations at Magnolia Table (EXCELLENT!), note: they do not take Saturday reservations and are closed Sundays. We ate in the dining room Friday and got takeaway on Saturday. Spent Friday at the Silos, a wonderful day for all ages. Thoughtfully designed with unique shopping and food options. We paid to park in a lot next door but there was lots of street parking a bit farther for free. Spent time in all stores and loved Jimmy Don's metal shop across the street from the Silos across from the Church end of the Silos. Magnolia Bakery and First Press coffee shop were well worth the visit. We ate dinner at Rudy's (just ok) for BBQ and George's a second night (great bar, pub fare affordable and delish drinks and food, eat in the bar area or outdoor seating, lots of action to see going on all around). Saturday toured the area a bit, saw Cottonwood Castle, and visited Spice Market boutiques...great rainy day activity (it was perfect weather but I felt a bit bad being indoors) tons of vendors, and interesting stuff. Toured and saw a sporting event at Baylor, a great time, a nice campus, a beautiful bookstore. Lots of AirBnbs and VRBOs are available in the area, many are former Fixer Upper homes of Chip and Joanna's...would not stay in a hotel next time, too many cooler options. The negative about Waco: SO many highways, big and small, kind of crazy short and speedy merging requirements, lots of fast drivers in big 'ol trucks.
My family loved the restaurant, happy hour, pool, outdoor games to keep the kids entertained, the size of the room, overall style of the hotel. Though the hotel is on a busy street, the parking lot is large and fit our sprinter van in the rear of the property. In the rear of the property it felt quiet and safe. I would stay here again if going through Waco. The kids wanted to stay longer.
The Hotel room was very ugly. Everything was old and dirty. I did not stay in this hotel. When i Checked in the credit card machine was not working and the only way to pay was cash plus $50 deposit. Once i step into the room i went back to the front lobby and request my money back. I wont recommend this hotel. Poor Quality
i booked another hotel in the nearby the area
Our stay was very pleasant. This is my family's second time staying in the same location, and it still the best location. It's clean, quite, and right across the street from Magnolia Table, Texas Roadhouse, and some of the best BBQ Rudy's. If you are planning on a trip to Waco, I would so recommend this hotel. We will stay here again in the future.
The hotel room was very specious and I enjoyed having the kitchenette area and sitting area separate from the beds. While we weren't next door to each other, the hotel was able to get our rooms close to each other. It was easy to get to, check in was easy, and the breakfast options were great. Rooms were clean. Beds and pillows were comfy.
The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and super accommodating. I asked a staff member to put a bottle of Prosecco in the room on ice to surprise my daughter on her 21st birthday before going to the Silos. Thank you for making it special for her! We ate dinner in the restaurant twice and both meals were excellent.
What a awesome hotel for our stay in Waco. We are a little bit sad, we couldn't stay longer, because of our travelling plan. The room was huge, clean and we had a coffee maker. The breakfast was very good, even for spoiled europeans with continental breakfast.
The service was so awesome and we could feel everybody loves their job.
We have really enjoyed the Comfort Suites since discovering them a few trips ago. While not an ultra luxurious hotel, the rooms are always nice and clean and the beds are very comfortable. Best value for the price. Hot breakfast, although this one did not seem to have quite as many options. Excellent coffee!
Room was staged well and worked great for our family of 5, plus puppy. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We typically look for hotels that have this an breakfast as an option. Price was reasonable for the area.
Poor bkft sausage raw. Yogurt nasty
Too many dogs. Want be staying at any more Hiltons that allow dogs. Don’t want to sleep in a bed a dog was in yet alone them in the room just nasty.
The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff were friendly - you were greeted every time you entered the building. The staff were also very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
The pool was refreshing.
Plenty of parking spaces available, even close to hotel entrance.
A lovely large picture of flowers above the bed made the room look appealing.
The hosts were exceptional and very welcoming. The inn and room were very inviting and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. We would definitely stay there again.
