DEFINITELY A COLLEGE TOWN! BUT WORTH THE VISIT. IT HAS A SMALLER TOWN CHARM. THE PRAIRIE DOGS WERE SO CUTE! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! A MUST SEE! LOVELY PARKS AND WALKS. LOTS OF LOCAL LIVE MUSIC. YOUNGER SCENE DUE TO COLLEGE.

We had snow in the area and things we wanted to visit were closed. No comment at this point but it seems like there is a variety of venues to visit. We came down for a concert and the theatre was wonderful and the show awesome.

Lubbock is actually a great city to visit.
Lubbock is actually a great city to visit. There's quite an array of things to do, quality restaurants, scenery and attractions for all ages, though some are seasonal. Big wide streets and new highways make travel easy, though in more established areas like downtown and near Texas Tech there is some congestion during peak hours.

The worst experience of our life .
The worst experience of our life .We were charged EXTRA $100 per day and $100. Deposit plus tax on the deposit REALLY For nothing? Unfortunately for us it was not Game day for us we didn't go to the game. We went to a "funeral" for three days. The room was not made during our entire stay. No towels ,soap ,no bed made ever. We have traveled all over the world never has this happen to us.it was ad disgusting room . Lizards dirty sheets .....We are expecting a credit for our inconveniences. I'm copying my travel agent regarding this property so she never refers it again.
Please use her address for any hotel refund you issue to us.

Lubbock is not a typical vacation destination to be sure.
Lubbock is not a typical vacation destination to be sure. We typically visit to see our daughter or engage with Texas Tech University in some way. More recently, with the opening of the Buddy Holly Center, we have made the trek in for special one-of-a-kind symphony and opera concerts that we can't see in other venues. That concert hall rivals Hamburg Elbphilharmonic and Berlin Philharmonic in my opinion.
Lubbock has some very fun and interesting food. Incredible sunsets. Good music scene. Palo Duro and Cap Rock (highly underrated!) are just a short 90 minute drive away.
Whenever we explore the southwest, we often stop through Lubbock on our way home intentionally for at least one night.
I needed a pet friendly hotel and found several, but this one had a perfect location. It's with in walking distance to about a dozen places to eat. It, the room and grounds, were in excellent condition. The staff were helpful and I needed an extra hour pass the checkout time, and they happily accommodated me. We need to return to Lubbock for a college visit and we will be staying here again-I won't look anywhere else.
I have to say, the location was phenomenal, in a really clean and nicer area around other hotels as well. The rooms were quite nice as well and the property was nice and clean and smelled really nice. The HK and common area staff deserve a lot of credit with how they treat this property and keep it clean. Last, the breakfast selections were super nice and had good variety! I would 100% stay here again.
The breakfast was fine- the best part was the "pour-your-own waffles." The facilities were clean and food was hot. It was great for a quick meal before hitting the road.
The room was just what you'd expect. It was clean, and everything worked in the room just fine.
The hotel gym was clean and useful.
The hotel was in great shape, very clean, remodeling going on, pool was awesome, staff was awesome owner was very friendly. Owner and staff had great customer service. Business and family friendly hotel. No complaints from my family and I. We will be returning in the future
Nothing didn’t get to stay said booking.com didn’t give them the reservation, this is the second and last time I’m ever using booking.com cuz last time I used booking.com in las cruces New Mexico the hotel didn’t get the reservation either according to both hotels
No complaints. Really friendly staff, easy check-in, hotel itself and room were very clean, room was a great size. Hotel was quiet and in a great location. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Lubbock.
The hotel itself is charming and fun. Kitschy and comfortable. We’ve stayed at the one in Austin so we knew what to expect for the most part. Restaurant and bar on site with in room bar and pool.
