TownePlace Suites by Marriott Plant City, hotel in Plant City

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Plant City features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center and shared lounge in Plant City.

This hotel is beautifully designed. Staff was super helpful, and friendly. We were offered pool noodles when we requested pool towels and they even had playing cards at the front desk. The fire pit was so lovely, the kids roasted Marshmallows (there is a publix behind the hotel). They were able to extend our check-out later than any other hotel I've ever requested that at.

Best Western Plus Lakeland, hotel in Plant City

Located in Lakeland, 6.3 miles from Foodco Railroad Station, Best Western Plus Lakeland has accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking and a shared lounge.

Nothing! We were put in a room that was next to morning pantry. All we heard from 3:45 am to morning was opening and slamming of the door between pantry and hallway door just outside our door. When requested a different room we were told that was all the “computer” had. There was no hand held showerhead to accommodate my shower as the shower chair was all the way at the opposite end of the shower stall. So, could not get a full nights rest or proper shower for 3 nights and 4 days

Plant City has a long rich history of family owned farms and businesses. The strawberry history and local pride for the city is everywhere. It's a city large enough to offer what you need and still keep the down home country feel. I hope the folks there never stop saying Sir & Ma'am. Make sure to stop in at Fred's market for a good home cooked meal and The Parkesdale Market for everything strawberry. It doesn't get more "family" and "down home" than these two places.

Plant City is a nice town.

Plant City is a nice town. We were there to attend the Reba concert at the strawberry festival. There were plenty of places to eat. The Holiday Inn Express is a wonderful place to stay. The event was easy to find and the locals were very friendly. 🍓

I was born here but just returning to visit son's grave.

I was born here but just returning to visit son's grave. During strawberry season they have a festival but haven't attended in many years (I even competed for strawberry queen but the pageant is mainly for local entertainment). The best strawberries are grown here but can be purchased in many stores (I get them on the east coast.) The town is named after Henry Bradley Plant who helped the railway system grow. Anyone interested in railway may want to check out a railway museum but built after my time there so can't give details

The hotel was a hot mess but the cleaning lady did an awesome job. The check in people accommodated to our comfortability. They had a lot of sketchy people there. Said they was workers from Guatemala. Hotel is under construction. Overall nice enough place.

The room was dirty. I paid $300.00 and the sheets were filthy. I had a two bedroom and both beds were dirty if it hadn’t been so late at night and I wasn’t worn out I would have went to a different hotel.
