Canton is an ok spot. It’s easy to navigate. Nice restaurants to try while there is Santa Fe Grill, El Sombrero, Ms. Barbecue and Marlo’s Backyard Barbecue. There’s not too many family activities here.

Was just passing through on our way to New Orleans and stopped for the night at the La Quinta . Hotel was clean and price was right. FYI don't bother going to the taco bell next door- by far the worst one I have ever been to.

Small, historic town.
Small, historic town. We came for the annual flea market and due to rain not many vendors stayed. Wish they would have made arrangements for vendors to be able to go inside. There looked to be many empty stores, possibly could have gone into those. We will try and comeback in the fall.
This was the best rated hotel in Canton and is close to the 55 which is why we selected on our way between Memphis and New Orleons as is about half way. It was clean, comfortable with a good sized room The inclusive breakfast was outstanding with lots of hot and cold choice! No dining facilities on site but several restaurants and drive throughs close by and a Walmart not far away. Plenty of free parking on site. We only stayed one night purely for travelling purposes so unsure what there is to see in the immediate area.
The hotel was as expected - a standard Hampton Inn, what made it exceptional was the staff. The woman working the evening shift when we checked in was out going and super friendly and helped us figure out where to go to dinner after confirming the pet fee. We had been driving for 13 hours and looked like it - when asked if we were dressed enough for the steak joint - she replied "your money certainly is!" - loved it and the restaurant was fine with how we were dressed.
Breakfast was better than most hotels. Evening desk manager was very friendly and helpful. He helped replace a missing guide for the TV, which was hard to use. TV remote needed new batteries.
Extremely large comfy bed. As a solo traveler I felt very safe staying at this hotel.
The staff are wonderfully welcoming and I will definitely stay here again.
We liked everything! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. We would highly recommend this place.
