I liked nothing at all about this hotel.
I liked nothing at all about this hotel. I had found a used hypodermic needle in one of the beds and the sheets had blood on them. I had removed the sheets and needle and stored it safely. I then went to office that day and had told the lady about it. Was told would be right up to change sheets. Hours go by and walked down to front desk again. This time different staff. She was said she heard about it. And a maintenance guy (kid) told me her heard about it as well. Why hasn't anyone done anything to accommodate me is beyond me. I was then told to bring the sheets down and they would switch them. So I did for the hateful clerk. Then was told she's not sure which sheets would fit so she gave me none. I went and slept uncomfortably. Woke up and straight to the office. The younger gentleman had apologized and said he hadn't heard of it. That young man is the only one who rushed back and handed me all clean sheets. I felt I should have gotten a free night out of the two nights. So I come back at check out and owner I'm assuming was there he asked about my stay I told him. He argued with me about a discount or something for my trouble. He yelled at me and told me no. Hrs later on my drive home says I can waive the fee on booking.com for not using my reservation. I said his did you all pull my reservation up then. I'll pitch a tent and sleep in it before I ever spend my money here again. Worst hotel I had ever stayed in and I stay in hotels alot.

It's been about 12 years since I've been out of the state of Michigan. I've worked and fought so hard for this much needed vacation, including spending the past 10 weeks on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Red Roof Inn in Caryville, TN was my first of five stops. Never again will I stay at a Red Roof Inn. There were bugs crawling all around the fridge and microwave. And I'm not talking about a few bugs.. No, there were dozens of them! There were earwigs crawling all around the ceiling. There was a giant spider web in the corner of the room, which makes absolutely no sense considering the strict sanitation guidelines that are currently in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Motel 6 (Greenville and Pigeon Forge) saved my vacation. Thank you Motel 6!

Didn't have but one evening... place looks really nice to visit, enjoyed some very entertaining Blue Grass music at the restaurant in the state park - along with some great BBQ, and where there was a reunion of prior servicemen, the oldest being 100 years old who fought in WW II as a tail gunner in a bomber, a fighter pilot in Korea, and Vietnam... and somehow survived! Amazing!
We stayed there at the same price as a decent hotel the next night. Their facility was old, terribly run down, and most rooms were rented out as low end "permanent live in residences." Owners were nice and polite people, whom, as many middle eastern families, purchase a run down facility and ride it out. This also reflects on Booking.com.
Hotel was in a convenient spot near the interstate, yet it still felt secluded and was quiet. Great views and everything was clean and spotless. Loved the llamas out behind the hotel and the swings out front. The breakfast was really good. Will definitely stay here again!
The night manger, Jordon, went over and above. When weather forced local food establishments to close or shutdown delivery, he made sandwiches for my wife who is diabetic, that saved the day. Caring people Ike that makes Hampton Inn a great place to stay.
The breakfast was excellent and offered a variety of hot and cold food. The coffee was also excellent. The location was close to the highway and the hotel sits on a hill. There are llama in the fenced space behind the hotel.
The location was great! Loved that it was pet friendly! Lady at front desk was very helpful and friendly! Left an item behind and they contacted me right away and mailed it back to me!
